    Good Morning,

    I'm trying to close my BOI account, I've filled the 'account closure form' on BOI internet site.
    How can I check if the transaction is going on?
    How many time take it?

    Hi aererei,

    Welcome to Boards and thanks for your post.

    Once you complete the online form to close your account, the process can take up to ten business days.
    We'd usually send you a closing balance statement by post to the address on file. We'd always advise that you cancel any Standing Orders or Direct Debits set up on the account before you request the closure as if they presented in the meantime this could delay the process.

    You can call the service desk on 0818365365 and an advisor can check this for you.
