Donedeal seems to be selling multiple times any other platform so I’d focus there.

    The ad is decent enough.
I’d probably move the details into bullit form as it’s easier to read.
    Maybe a few more photos.

But as with many cars it may be a case of it being overpriced. If it doesn’t sell, drop tue price and wait, drop and wait again.

Everything sells...... at a price !

alright its 5900 now. what would you drop to next?

If it was a sought after car at a good price your phone would be having a spasm attack.
All i see is French car, diesel, family wagon. 3 Bigs NOs
Try lowering the price but if you wait to long you will have to re-bumb the add. Try 5500 sell at around 5 grand

It's not a bad ad or a really high price as far as I can see. Not exactly a massively in demand car though so you probably will have to drop the price a bit. How much and how quickly to drop price depends on how much of a rush you are in to sell.

To be fair, the price isn't bad at the moment and those C4 Picasso's are actually a popular car in that segment but it's likely it will still take a few weeks to sell, as do most private sales.

Your car looks in good nick but those photos do it no justice. Drive it to a big empty car park and take photos that aren't cramped and cut off at the edges.

I'd also write a bit more individual text and use less of the generic "airbags, central locking, head rests" nonsense.

I'd maybe consider doing a voluntary early NCT, you are out of NCT in a little over 12 weeks. A new NCT until 02/20 would make it infinitely more saleable, particularly with the bit of tax left.

Also, noone wants to get to the car to find out the interior you didn't show is a mess.

    Better pictures.
Pictures of the tyres and thread if possible.
Please god remove "spec" such as windshield wipers from the description.
    Price I'd leave as is.

In fairness, if the ad doesn't mention windscreen wipers, I'd expect a sponge on a stick

Its got wipers and a rear view mirror? You don't mention its got wheels!

Less is more - don't mention the obvious.

On specs, only mention things that are better than standard.

Main picture not great - take one from front and as above interior pics.

If no-one smoked in the car, I'd maybe mention that somewhere especially as you are probably targeting a family.

+1 this. I've been a serial car buyer for years and I gave up on carzone and the likes years ago. Jammed full of inflated dealer prices and way too expensive to advertise a car (or at least it was).

Carzone charge €5 these days, donedeal are charging €11. It used to be the other way round but as soon as whichever one becomes the popular choice they raise their prices until they realize they have lost their market dominance.
