Limerick Strand Hotel

    Recently engaged and starting to hunt for venues.
    The Strand Hotel in Limerick at Christmas time is amazing and we hope to go there. We viewed the room recently, the one on the top floor, and felt that it was very narrow for the number of people they say it can hold at maximum. We would have 100-110 in attendance.

    Just wondering if anyone out there can put me at ease about it and let me know if you've been there for a wedding recently and was it very a tight squeeze to actually relax and enjoy the day/night!

    Not been at one, however I was at a work event that held approx 70 and not sure he could have held another 40 tbh, also when I was looking for a hotel I also looked at the strand but at the time they said music had to end by 11pm and after that we would have to use a ipod that was turned down
