Mobile phone holder

Can anyone recommend a decent mobile phone holder so I can use Google maps while driving. I'm thinking of something that holds it to an air vent. I've bought 2 already and both have been rubbish at holding the phone or staying on the dash.

I use this with a OnePlus5 with no problems, just put the metal behind the phone cover so nothing stuck to anything.

Used a few others but they had issues with the speaker output or just not working.

in my old car in the air vents and it was very good for the price, as mentioned above you can stick the magnetic plate in behind your cover rather than sticking it to the phone.

I got one in a meteor shop for 20 quid. Suction cup to stick to the windscreen. Phone is held in clamp. Could have it upright or sideways. Also didn't obscure my view as I put it to the lower right corner.

Try an OZOmount we have 3-4 in the family , great mounts and cheap enough on amazon tbh

I use a Belkin I bought from Halfords, at €23 its not cheap but its been so good i bought a second one from my wife, both holding S7 edge http://www.halfords.ie/technology/mobile-phone-accessories/car-phone-holders/belkin-in-car-vent-mount-2016 - its almost identical to the one Fancy Pigeon shows above

Just something about those Vent mounts. How solidly do they clapse the vent? You don't want it releasing in an accident.
