I'm sure this question has been asked a lot. I believe only the Dublin Revenue Office processes applications and issues TAIN numbers. How long does the process take? I am looking to assist a few people who are complete technophobes file online and do a few tax reclaims during the year. Any advice would be appreciated.

I will be contacting Revenue regarding access to ROS and a TAIN number on Monday.

Not sure how long the process takes to get a TAIN, but you will need an active TAIN and at least 1 client linked to you before you can register for ROS

Once you are registered on ROS you can link to your other clients and will take approx 3 working days for you to be able to file for them

I would advise you to get row certs foe your clients if you aren't doing this professionally.

ROS certs. Typo. If you aren't doing this professionally youre not really an agent so they should file under their own steam so to speak..
