    2002 Yaris 1.0

Engine warning light erratically comes on and off, no other symptoms, car is running fine. Car was just serviced with new oil, filters and plugs. They didn't highlight any issues at the time bar a manifold gasket which is blowing very slightly.

    Any ideas?

It could be that. I think they are prone to oxygen sensors failing too which you usually can't feel in the driving of it.

Most corollas and yaris's of that age have a p0420 "catalytic system efficiency below threshold" code. But still pass the emissions test no problem.

i'd get myself a cheap code reader. And if it is that, don't worry about it.

Yeah, my Celica had that with a check engine light. Always passed the NCT etc.
