My 2824-2 is loosing 8 seconds a day. I thought the standard was +/- 5 sec per day.

    Is this correct?

No, I wouldn't expect that accuracy from all watches using that movement - I think that'd be within or close to COSC levels, which I doubt the movement would have when it leaves ETA. Pretty sure it'll depend how much regulation the watch brand itself does when they get the movement. Depending on the brand, 8 seconds doesn't seem too bad.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

    +1

+/- 12s is within spec for the 2824-2

The one I had in my Quondam / Davosa kept very good time at about -2s
