    Hi

I am trying to build a garden shed to my own spec, and looking to purchase galvanized steel U channels for the framing. Unfortunately, I called to a few places and all said that they don't do galvanized steel. Would anyone know of any suppliers that might do? Any directions much appreciated.

you can buy it raw, cut and drill it to the length you need and get it galvanized yourself. There are a few galvanizing plants around.

goes by weight. used to be 50 cent a kg I think but not sure what it is now.

Would unistrut suit? You'd pick it up at most large electrical wholesalers.

Might be a bit overkill for what you need.

    Would unistrut do instead?

Sounds like you're looking for cold rolled purlins? Try kingspan.

Was 1euro per kg when I got stuff galvanised a number of months ago. Priced around a few places at that
