Hopefully I'm putting this is in the correct forum! ... Looking for recommendations for Cranes in the Meath/North Dublin area. What would be a ball park figure of what I could expect to pay for this?... thanks!

Cant answer your question: but you will get better info if you say what type of crane you are looking for.

A very vague question. Are you looking to hire for an hour, a week or buy one?
Are you sure it's a crawler crane you want? They are on tracks and are very rare.
Are you sure it's not a mini digger you're after? They are very common on tracks.

The reason for my vagueness was that I wasn't sure if companies normally price per job or per hour. Based on the job Id imagine its a mini crawler crane I would need. I'll start pricing around. Does anyone have recommendations of companies?

From quotes I've been given a 20 tonne crane will need to be hired for a minimum of one day and may cost close to 1000 after transport to site and VAT.

God haven't a clue on costing wise you are best to source prices directly from companies, I know these guys are Dublin based http://www.kkeoghcraneservices.ie might be worth checking them out
