Weekly water outages in North Kildare area since July 2017?????Water turned off?

Since Kildare CoCo have handed over their water responsibilities to Irish Water the areas of Newtown/Donadea/Ovidstown (& possibly more) have no water for up to 24hrs at at time at least 2 time a week?  This has been happening since approx July 2017.  When Irish Water are contacted there is never any reason given - "there is no fault in the area," "the engineer hasn't reported and issues."  I have come to the conclusion that Irish Water are simply turning off our water supply - as there appears never be a reason, - to possibly enhance the stance on investment being required for the water network.  The area I am in is relatively new in terms of pipes and my particular abode connected to the supply in 2012/2013 - at which time a fee was paid to the Council for the privilege.  I have been told that we are perhaps located on the end of a supply line , but how was this never a factor when the Council were responsible as our supply was normal and reliable???  It is gone long beyond a joke and the people affected by this are weary. Can any light be shed on this issue please?
