I need to get something delivered to Dubai in a hurry by 20 October.
I haven't bought the item yet so was wondering if there was a website that i could use which meant it would be there on time. Would amazon be able to or an equivalent site?
Also open to the idea of buying item in Ireland and getting it shipped if it would arrive on time.

How big is it? Buying it here and using a courier such as UPS or FedEx would probably be ok, but they won't be cheap.

Souq.com, owned by Amazon is worth trying.

If not too big I've regularly used An Post Registered Post International to Dubai. Usually takes around a week. Can be tracked.

There's rarely a problem with ordering on Amazon and using an address in another country - depending on what you are buying.

    They certainly deliver to Dubai:

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_201910060_to_201955900_2?nodeId=201955900

Why not try? Set up another address - I have about 6 or 7 addresses in my account, so that's not an issue - click on the item you want, and if there's a problem you won't get as far as the final paying stage.

I am trying to get a kids present there in time for a birthday - I picked out a gift on amazon for €30 but its costing about €35 to deliver it there on time.

However found the same toy on Sopuq.com and its 100 quid without delivery! :O

I sent stuff to Dubai this summer via Standard Post with An Post and one of the parcels was returned to me and the other recipient never received the parcel, presumed lost. They have a pretty stupid postal system and addresses like "Next to the Metro - Tower B" is not uncommon.

Fedex etc. would be the best bet but you'd be looking at €100+ easily.
