Has anyone any insight into current policies in NI re out of town broadband.
I noticed a new run of poles, with a "Caution Fibre Overhead" label and what appears to be Fibre. The poles also have new silver boxes, probably for concealing cable joints. This is a near the town location where Eir would often now have FTTH, but I had the impression that in NI that there weren't such widespread plans for FTTH.

Are BT aiming for FTTH or will they just connect a cabinet here somewhere?
Either would be fine as the location for the cabinet is only 25m from the location I am interested in.
