    Hi All,
I am really hoping that someone can help me with a few questions that are causing me some stress..or point me in the right direction.
I am a newly qualified post primary teacher working in a special school with both primary and secondary status..There is a permanent position available in the school but am I eligible to apply as I'm secondary qualified?or will it be necessary for me to do some more training?
I really don't want to as I've a young family and just recently finished my secondary P.D.E.Also does anyone know if I remain in the school do I stay on the bottom of the pay scale or go up as normal?(as I'm secondary qualified,I am just wondering if this changes the scales!?)..thanks in advance for any help or advice.
    C
