Samsung washer dryer

Had the plummer out to today to fit new wd80j6410aw Samsung washer dryer. He turned on the water to test the pressure( machine wasn't powered to electric). The water then started to spill into machine if it was on and a croaking noise roared up. He reckoned it was defect and in 20 years of fitting washing machines he never came across anything like it. Any suggestions looking for second opinion.

The Red Ace would probably be the best person on here to advise on these matters, but it sounds to me that the inlet valve that restricts flow to the drum is stuck open, which shouldn't be the case.

the solenoid valve is stuck open, rarely happens in a new machine only a small job to replace it but up to you to accept replacement

Thanks for the responses lads, the Samsung repair man was out this morning and has red ace pointed out it was an issue with the valve that just seemed to sort itself out when he turned back on the water to the machine. So he ran a 15 minute wash and it went OK.
