Engaged at Christmas

    Myself and my partner plan to get engaged at Christmas and I haven't the first clue about engagement rings. At what point should we start looking so we have the ring on Christmas Eve.

    I'd recommend Loyes Diamonds on Baggot Street - https://loyesdiamonds.ie They'll design a ring for you for any budget and will really take you through the whole thing, it's a real education and worked out much cheaper than a high-store jewellers. Got my wife's engagement ring there and couldn't say enough good things about them.

    Depends on where you plan on buying. If you're going into a bricks and mortar shop, they could have the ring then and there, or if you need a different size they may need a week or so to order it in. If you're having something designed and made it can take a few weeks or more. It would probably be no harm to start looking now and see if anything strikes your fancy.
