Looks like a ceramic oil additive.

    It's a friction modifier.

I know a guy that has used one in a 318i e46.. no negative effects.
Don't know if there was anything positive.

A quick Google suggests that these additives may clog the o2 sensor

I generally avoid all oil additives, be they friction modifiers or engine oil flushes.

    Snog, marry , avoid

if it worked, one of the big car companies would have bought it and suppressed it.

    very snakey.

We had a rep in one time trying to flog us some sh1te similar to this. He spotted the bosses motorbike, and told us about one of his customers who had used it on a bike and was well impressed.

He got a bit flustered when he was asked what it would do to a wet clutch!:pac:

It is basically like wearing reserve oil additive to make vehicle engine last long. It is a revolutionary breakthrough in engine coating technology and from tribotex.com the official website of TriboTEX, you can read more about this technology to understand its functions. I have already used it last year but got benefits after 500 miles of normal driving.
