Dil Wickremasinghe's Newstalk show is cancelled!

    Newstalk broadcaster Dil Wickremasinghe has revealed that her Newstalk show has been cancelled.
    Dil said that she is "shocked and deeply disappointed" that her Saturday night show Global Village is coming to an end, as she called it "one of the greatest privileges of my life."
    She said in a passionate statement: "Earlier today I met with Newstalk management who told me that despite positive ratings and performance, my Saturday night radio show “Global Village” has been cancelled.
