    Hi all,
I know this one is going to be very difficult to answer, but I need a very rough ball park before I go out for quotes for a roof job. I need to re slate an old 2 story farm house, L shaped with a steep pitch hipped roof with 1 valley and 3 chimneys. There is also an extension at the rear from the '80 so the roof on that is fine and the valley lead (2 more valleys) is fine. I've counted approximately 1300 24" x 12" slates on the main roof. On last inspection the timbers were all in good condition, and the roof is straight. The issue is slates disintegrating, and of course there is no felt. I'm going to go with Tegral Ravendale @ €1.50 ea. What is the best product to use under these in terms of a felt/membrane? The house is in County Cork.
    Thanks,
    Dave
