Last week I made a thread where my wifi with the f2000 modem, http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057791559

It turned out there is a known IPv6 issue, I switched to IPv4 only and it seemed to fix it.

I don't know if I spoke too soon but it's just as bad now. Can someone look at my settings and see if they're ok https://i.imgur.com/zMrLhpA.png

Would the fact that the wired connection is perfect indicate its to do with wifi not dns?

Also I'm having another problem I don't know if its related, I haven't looked into it yet. I've two chromecasts, one video and one audio. The video is fine but the audio needs to be set up every day.

So I got an app from the play store called dnset, basically a vpn which forces the phone to use 8.8.8.8

Its probably collecting my data and eating my battery but at this stage I dont care.

Isn't 8.8.8.8 Google's DNS? So you should be grand.

Not that anyone cares but I had firmware B030,support upgraded me to B036. Got rid of dnset and its perfect now. Shouldn't have to go through this especially with a new modem.
