    Budget: €1,700

Intended Use: Gaming, General use, Microsoft office etc.

Mobility: 15.6", anything else is probably either too small or too big.

Warranty: Just a general warranty from a seller with good customer service in case it needs to be returned I.e amazon

    OS: Windows 10

I'm currently considering buying a laptop for £1,449 on amazon.co.uk and would appreciate some advice

I've never spent more than €800 on a laptop as I prefer a more powerful desktop. But I'll be travelling a bit more with work now so I thought get something decent that will last me a number of years.

Main specs I'm looking for would be a 15.6" screen. 250GB+ Ssd, 1TB hdd, fast CPU and 16Gb ram, fast GPU.

I was looking at the GTX 1050 for about £900-£1,000 but the 1060 is more than twice as fast but at a substantial cost increase. Seeing as the GPU won't be upgradeable I think it would be the better choice in order to future proof?

Looking at the CPUs, I was considering an i5 7300hq but they're not too much cheaper than the i7 7700hq equivalent so I was of getting one with it.

I would consider a Dell XPS15, the one here for 1799 looks the job. 512GB SSD, 16GB of RAM and it has a decent graphics card and processor. It should be handy to move around if needed too.

It's the one I'd go for.
