Eir Fibre,Asus DSL-AC68U and VOIP

    I changed out my F2000 modem for the Asus because of poor wi fi coverage but cannot get VOIP working now. I have no outgoing audio on incoming calls. Outgoing calls work perfectly.I have tried enabling port forwarding ,DMZ and QoS but nothing sorts this problem. Has anybody had any issues like this with VOIP??

    I'd recommend dropping Mr G a PM and asking him to check this thread. This is his area.

    What VoIP device are you using? Have you tried another device or softphone? What provider are you using?

    I'm using a Grandstream HT701 and I have tried an old Eircom handset and that does the same thing. The VOIP works fine using the Eir F2000 but wifi coverage is poor so could really do with getting the Asus working.  Thanks

    I'm with Vomino and their support failed with this as well. Asus support tried a bit harder but also failed
