So I am 18 years old in university. Basically I don't know whether I'll be saving more money by getting a Child Leap Card (valid until you're 19 y/o) or a Student Leap Card?

Which one will save me more money?

    When do you turn 19?

Child leapcard is far cheaper than either adult or student leap cards. Has a much lower weekly cap too. Unless you're nineteen in a week or two get a child one

Thank you. Guess I'll be getting the child one then

A personalised child one. Probably know that already, but just in case.

You should definitely get a child one then. On Dublin Bus the standard Leap Fare is €2.05 for adults/students compared to €0.79 with a child leap card. I don't know if this is the case for BE or IE, but for Dublin Bus the right-side validator still charges the €0.79 during the school holidays, including the summer IIRC.
