Realistically a woman shouldn't have any trouble. The fact there is an abundance of thirsty lads out there, if they simply wanted to get it they can. Women also have a ridiculous advantage when it comes to online dating. I've seen some girl's Tinders and they're constantly getting messages all day every day from lads. Now of course most of those lads are pure melts but still a woman can sit back and watch the lads try their best to woo her.

As a married man, of course men make excuses not to get it on, probably more so with partners of longstanding, but I do get tired and want to sleep when I go to bed a lot of nights.

That’s not exactly true, it’s more consistent with the pareto principle – the top 80% of girls get with the top 20% of guys and the bottom 20% of girls get with the bottom 80% of guys. The pareto principle should also work within the top 20% of guys – the top 4% of guys could get with the top 64% of girls …. if they had the energy.

This purely relates to casual hook-ups which are a highly valued resource for men - and as such it tends to work like the monetary system - the top 10% own 80% of wealth etc.

+1 here. My sex drive has calmed down a lot but especially when I was younger and in relationships with men, I've been the one doing a good bit of the initiating and was sometimes knocked back. Now I am married to a woman so......let's just say my rejection rate has increased :pac:

They're only pickier because they can be though. Guys would be just as picky if they were afforded the same opportunities (with regards to choice) as women are. If women suddenly started coming on to men, to the same degree men come on to women, you'd soon start seeing the same behaviours manifesting in men (with regards to selectivity) that we currently see in women.

Sure look at any extremely good looking guy or male celeb* for evidence of that.

*excluding Wayne Rooney (given his predilection for OAPs). There's always the exceptions
