That 1800 was for gas. Different job. 3.6k should include a power flush for that money. Is there much changing around to do?

Yes it does. I'm happy with the quote just a bit nerves as no real info on company online. Plumber was really nice and knew what he was talking about I'm just a bit nerves as we have just moved to the country so we're going on no recommendation really so wondered if they where a known company or not.

We just paid for a replacement oil boiler - 1920 Euro done by our usual plumber. It was an boiler house installation including new horizontal flue. Also took the old boiler away with him.

Have you a rough breakdown of the quote?

That should be your answer in itself, I googled them and cant find them.

Just get 3 quotes from local registered installers.
    Is it me ?
Or does that make more common sense?

What makes €3,500 look good ?????

Without seeing job, but average replacement is €2350 +€450 power flush, so go local with 3 quotes

    Obviously bigger boilers cost more.

    Yes
I know were on line, but I wouldn't ever get an online internet company to do my work.
I go local, and better if they have an address, land line telephone number and a website, preferences in that order.

    Hope that makes sense?

    North County Cork. Condensing boiler.

Wouldn't touch anything, not on the HARP database. Why wouldn't you be?

See a brochure given to a colleague recently. New type of boiler with seemingly mystery powers. Run a mile.

Hi amtc, would you mind PM'ing me the name of that company, or contact details for that guy?

    Thanks!

I don't imagine prices will be the same as two years ago given price increases for materials.
