    I'm buying currently

Is it a bad idea for a 2nd hand car? As prices likely to drop in Nov/Dec etc coming up to making car another reg older? Or is that chasing the willo the wisp?

    Like everything it depends.

It has a bigger impact on young cars. A car moving from 3 to 4 years is a lot different from a car thats 11 years old.

I recently sold a car which was in great nick, FSH, new tyres etc. and at quite a competitive price. I found the market really flat to be honest and it took a few weeks longer to sell than I expected. I reckon because of all the cars coming off PCP @ 3 years and the currently sterling rate, theres great value to be had in Ireland at the moment. Cant see a few months making a massive difference.

So you think waiting til say January won't save me a whole lot if I am buying , for example, a 2014 car vs buying it now? (2nd poster)
But 1st poster thinks for the yearage I'm looking at (I'm looking 2013 to 2015 ish) that it would....
