Hi. I tried regional forums without much luck. Anyone in Galway City or nearby would have sawdust to give away ? I could use a bin bag or two.

    what kind of saw dust.
does it need to be pure and clean
does it need to be planer shavings or smaller partials
can it have man made materials in it like mft or ply wood
is there a contamination issue like wood allergies
are you using it for bedding animals or plants. in some cases you cant have certain woods in it

Clean wood would be the best but for now any type of wood will do. No allergies.
It's not going to be used for animals or plants.
I'm playing with an idea of making some home made fire wood briquettes.

The way the wood pellets are made is buy pressure. The natural lignin in the wood binds it.

Glue is not a great idea. I was thinking about using used cooking oil. I'll try it at some stage but I want to start with clean saw dust first.

I'm not going to make pellets. I trying to figure out how to compress saw dust into small cardboard box (small) or cardboard tube.
The denser it is the longer it burns.
