So just dropped my Asus X555L and the screen is banjaxed ... can anyone recommend where to buy a new screen and also how do I know which connector? (One website says the screen comes in both a 30pin and a 40 pin format).
Will probably be getting someone to fit it for me but will be cheaper to provide the screen myself I'd say.

    Hi,
Thanks for that, I found them yesterday. They are quoting almost €100 for the screen without fitting it ... I thought I might be able to get it a bit cheaper tbh ... but maybe not...

Source the screen yourself and replace it yourself. This looks like a very straight forward replacement.

Accuparts in the UK, eBay. A YouTube video and you'll be able to fit it yourself in 20 minutes or less.
The only hard part is getting off the bezel.
