Would I be better shut of the current filtering system I have as its dated?
Or simply run with it and replace current filters.

What others could I consider, any recommendations ?

    Thanks

Out of curiosity, why did you need a filter? btw ignore question if you want.

    No problem.

The water doesnt taste or smell right here and I dont want to keep buying bottled water.

i would be happier to drink something with less chlorine in it and other chemicals and minerals.

Its striking that cats or dogs wont drink the water here, favoring rain water gathered in anything outside.

    Never seen that filter before.

Below,my filter that fits nicely under the sink, with filters replaced every 6-8 months.
Search online for "reverse osmosis" filters and you will find plenty of suppliers.

Also, highly advise .... get a water softener, your skin will say a big "Thank You" !

    Have fun.

Is that 8 filters a softener and uv filter?
Your incoming water must be terrible?
You could probably treat your outgoing water with them and never need a supply ha.
