Aluclad: Nordan v. Carlson

I've narrowed down the options to these two for aluclad. I really did want to go with Rationel who make a lovely, neat product but it was unfortunately not flexible - e.g. sliding door sizes and window openings were very restricted - and also the wait time "at least 8 weeks" was not guaranteed.

So, it seems it's between Nordan and Carlson now. Does anybody have experience of either firm's aluclad product?

Also, is it worth going triple glazed on our windy little island? Carlson are charging 25% extra for triple, and Nordan are charging 10%. The Nordan man said double is fine and to put my money into something else. He isn't the first person to say this either.

    All feedback will be appreciated.

There are significant differences but unfortunately house rules don’t allow for providing any explanation. For information you will have to rely on the sales reps…. who, based on the information you have already been given, would hardly inspire confidence.
