    Hi,
Im a recent Business Studies graduate (returned to college as a mature student so 28 years old) and have been looking for employment for the last month or so. The labour market seems to be really good from my experience so far and Ive done plenty of interviews and feel like Im doing well in them.

I got an offer this week but its a 12 month contract on a good salary but Im not sure how it will progress my career. Why Im really hesitating is that Im really not sure what jobs I would be applying for after a year in this job and I think it will be similar jobs to what Im looking at now.

Ive done two other second round interviews this week that I felt went well and should hear feedback from these in the next day or so but I need to get back to the first offer today. Im leaning towards turning it down and waiting on other options. Should i really be thinking like or just look to get 12 months more experience under my belt?

I wouldn't be too fussy personally - you could end up in a rut with nothing quite easily

accept it and if a better option comes up take that.....It'll be a week or so until they get contracts and all that out so gives you time to hear back without losing the offer you have

This is what I done took a shocking paid job as IT help desk when I was out of college.

Was on less then 10 euros a hour in a multi nash

Took it as used it to my stepping zone. Now head of a dept for EMEA in a company 4 times the size of the 1st one.

Sometimes you have to take crap to get better.
