Hi. My daughter has just been diagnosed with severe dyslexia. She's almost 7. Has anyone availed of the workshops offered by the Dyslexia Association of Ireland in Galway? Are they worth trying?

Yes, they are worth going to, if nothing else you will meet people who understand your situation.
The handful I went to were I found hard going, BUT I learned a lot from listening and talking to the people there about all kinds of things.

It's worth joining Dyslexia Ireland as they are the "go to" ppl for all kinds of information that cant be reliably gotten elsewhere.
