Just bought cannondale caadx and wondered what tyres people use for winter if they commute on a cyclo x bike?
I do about 45ks a day purely on roads if that's any help?

Road tyres? Conti, Michelin - that sort of thing.

I've been using Michelin Pro4 Endurance for commuting on a road bike for a few years and I find them great.

Always used conti 4 seasons during summer on my other cannondale and was looking at contis again as i rarely puncture, however reviews are mixed for cyclo x tyres.

    What size r the michelins?

I've been using 25s but the Michelins are a wide tyre and in reality are closer to 28. The 25 can be a bit of a squeeze to get past the calipers but it's not an issue.
