I'm looking to replace the suite in my bathroom and retile/paint. It's a small bathroom, really ensuite size. I'm only looking to do so I can sell the house on shortly. Want a very basic suite, nothing luxurious but not rubbish. I'm getting a quote of €5k which seems crazy but I can't go down the route of doing it myself so really need someone to do the whole thing from start to finish. Any ideas where to look?

I wouldn't have thought it's worth it to renovate if you're selling it.

Quick paint and clean job would be more effective as unless it's a really nice bathroom as most buyers will not have the same taste as you and will budget for replacement.

You won't get a return on this investment. A person bidding on your home might be planning on changing the bath anyway so it may be add a penny to the value.

I suggest talk to your estate agent. They will advise where you can do small work that might help the sale. Usually this would be no more than cleaning, a little painting and keeping the garden tidy

Just clean it within an inch of it's life and repaint if necessary.

The house will sell even if the bathroom is in bits. Buyers tend to have their own plans.
