Scratches on a 2010 car I bought

I bought a black car 1 month ago... Lots of scratches and swirl marks all over it so I brought it to a detailing business that has good reviews .. He did a buff and paint enhancement and also a cermaic coating and told me it would get rid of the scratches. It was raining when I collected and seemed perfect but when it was dry I seen most scratches were still there.... question is how can I get rid of these scratches . They are all over the car.. thanks

    Are they deep scratches?

Assuming he didn't do a good enough job correcting the paint before applying the coating. What about getting another detailer to have a look at the paint ?

Did he actually detail or just valet?

    How much op???

There are only a few names I see pop up on here and the car could take 3 days work to sort.

Well worth it though if done right.

    It was there 2 weeks??

Or just from 9-5 if just the few hours it wouldn't be enough for a detail.

I would expect to pay €300 plus for a proper detail...

€200 for that work is super cheap. We'd be budgeting around €450 for our Gtechniq coating along with any paint correction needed at around €45 per hour if needed, an average enhancement takes 5-6 hours with most corrections from 12-16 hours at least.

    Toothpaste on paint big no....

For a diy on cloudy headlights I've heard alright.

You need a da with different pads and a cutting polish, finishing Polish and a sealant wax or ceramic coating.

    Look up detailing shed.com.

You need basic kit then to keep in good shape after correction. 2 buckets with grit guards, good wash MIT such as wool or microfiber, good foam/soap, polish, wax, and many many more things you can add to your collection.

Have all them bits bought right after paint correction
