I have a Vgate OBDII dongle (same as one recommended on here) and I got it to work once when I first got my leaf. I remember it took me ages to work it out, so I'm not sure if it's me or it :o

Anyway, I am trying to do another reading and I can't get it to connect to the wifi on my iphone. When I plug it in, the blue wifi light flashes briefly as does the light next to it and the light with the battery picture is red. No matter what I do, I can't get it to pick up the wifi signal.

Any suggestions, or am I doing something wrong?

Surely it uses Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi?

When you go into settings-->wifi does it show up there?

Mine is wifi aswell, I had horrendous issues getting one that worked

If it's not showing in your phone's list of wifi networks then I'm afraid it's the dongle that's at fault.
