I attended the AITI CTA in Dublin last two years and found the course great.

Was exempt from Part 1, being ACCA, and did the summer courses, some winter.

Depending on your level of tax knowledge the Part two is manageable, without having done Part 1.
The online lectures are the class recordings from either the prior winter or the prior weekend depending on which you do, Summer Or Winter.
Assuming you start soon, winter, then the next lectures will be up to date, only a few days old.

Classes at part 2 are 4 hours long, 2 a day Saturday and Sunday, so be prepared to put aside plenty of time.
    And follow the study plans.

Studying at home on your own can be tiresome, but if you're up for it then do it.
I found the benefit of the classes was being able to meet other people in my situation and chat about tax.
If possible see if you can attend some courses as you may prefer attending, and also having access to lectures is great.

At Part 3, its mainly all online, and classes are about discussing the papers and online, so that won't be too difficult.

Personally, I found doing papers and plenty of reading helped a huge amount.
The books have lots of content and access to www.taxfind.ie is great with considerable depth of information.

Interim exams are also key, keeping you on your toes.
A project is due in early January, which helps to bring all your knowledge together.

Leading up to the exams I took three weeks off, 2 study weeks and 1 exam week, up doing papers at 6 in the morning until sometimes 11 at night. Attempt the papers, then correct yourself, noting the key errors made. Exam timing is crucial.

Its burnout territory, but I was under pressure going in. Summer lectures started 25th April and exams 10-14 August....not much time.
The first-day, lecturer for Business Taxes laughed and said fair play lads, we all knew what he meant by that...

The winter course provides for a more gradual onboarding of information, and the online lectures will provide the same time.

I have no regrets doing it and highly recommend it.

Thanks so much for the feedback.
The course isn't being run in Athlone but they have said I can do a mix of online and attend the classes.
Bit apprehensive as I finished the FAEs a few years back so it's just a matter of getting back into the study
