commercial property for doctor surgery in cork

    i have some commercial space that i think would be very well suited as a GP surgery. (pharmacy optician dental surgery close by, large population.)

    i was thinking of writing to the GP's in the area to see if any of them were looking to expand.

    was curious as to the best place to attract a young gp looking to start his/her own practice?

    are there any organisations/accountants that specialise in buying or selling practices that would have these GP's on their books?

    any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    It would be worth putting ads in the Irish Medical Times, Medical Independent, Forum (monthly publication of Irish College of General Practitioners) and GPbuddy.ie.

    What would you say would be a reasonable space needed for a two GP surgery in terms of numbers of rooms and square footage?

    2 gp practice will need 1000 ft2 min. they can share 1 nurse so 3 clinical rooms,reception,waiting area,2 wc, staff kitchenette and your good to go.
