Hour Passion Kildare, Pushy.

I use to love going into Hour Passion in KV to have a good look at the watches, but now I feel very uncomfortable going in. I find the staff, who they seem to change often, very pushy. What I mean is the staff comes straight up and asks am I all right, I always say yes, just looking and they always stay with me, talking about watches pushing modals they have.
Now I know their job is to sell, but some guys, like me, like my own space when looking at watches. I am only in there 2/3 times a year, not every week and unless I have money to purchase I would not ask to try on a watch.

It is gone to a stage where I might not go in next time.

Is it only me or do others feel the same way that they are pushy.

I used to be the exact same, but had a bit of dealing with them over the last while and have to say they're quite helpful and pleasant.

As far as them coming up to you, I always found you could say something along the lines of 'i'll give you a shout if i need you' and they back off quick enough. I've also learned not to worry about trying on about 20 watches at a time, even if you've no intention of buying - they seem more than happy to let you do it.

Thanks folks, will try again, but I do always tell them I am just looking. I am up there in another few weeks, so here is hoping, I do like it in there.

They are owned by the swatch group, so you get great prices on swatch, tissot, certina, mido, hamilton, longines, hamilton and calvin cline. what i have seen, they are as cheap if not cheaper than what you get on the net.
