    Hi all

On a long haul flight, does "30Kg allowance" mean the 30kg can be spread over 2 bags if needed? So, say, 2 x 15 Kgs. Or does it mean all 30 Kg has to be in one case?

    Thanks

    Depends on the airline.

Some use a weight concept so you can have up to 30KG in many bags. Some airlines use a piece concept e.g. 2 pieces up to 23kg each.

    What airline is it?

Turkish Airlines. Nothing coming up on their site so far for clarification

TK is a weight concept. So 30KG for Business and 20KG for economy with no limit to number of bags.

It's one of two flights Im taking with them to another destination. So 30 kg is coming up because it's a long haul.

So I can definitely take that to mean 30kg to spread over 2 cases if I want?

If its TK the whole way you're fine. If its different airlines it might complicate things.

If you're unsure ask TK Dublin Sales IE-SALES@thy.com or 018447920

    Hi Jason

    That number isn't connecting

My ticket is saying 30Kg allowance. It's not saying anything about carry on. I was going to do 2 x 15Kg on main baggage and bring a laptop and iPad with me on a small carry on bag onto the plane. Will this be allowed/separate to the 30kg?

    Thanks
