To make a long story short, my husband had an accident 8 years ago at work.
It caused him a very bad injury whereby he had to be operated and was unable to work for weeks.
At the time, the company paid his medical expenses and his time of work.
He was not compensated any other way nor did he make a claim. However in the last few years he’s had reoccurring trouble from his injury
And will now have to have another operation and take time of work. He does not work for this company. We worked out we will be a few thousand out because of this.

Does anyone know can he make a claim to the company he had the injury with?

Unfortunately, the statute of limitations is 2 years to advise your intention to claim

It will unfortunately be too late now to make a claim, 2 years from notice. I know its all well and good in hindsight but why didnt he claim at the time?
