Vertical blind problem

I'm a painter and vertical blinds are the bane of my life. I have to take them down to get at the window and I would say once every 5 times something goes wrong. This time, when I put the blind back up for the customer, all the vertical slats would close bar one. The little hook at the top to which the slat is attached, doesn't turn at all. Would anyone know how to fix this? thanks a mil, Dok

    Slatted blinds are crazy fragile.
No idea how to fix this, and most likely you cant without taking apart the whole thing.

When doing jobs and you see these blinds ideally you should suggest that the customer remove the blinds themselves or that you charge more for doing it.

Ideally just explain to the customer how fragile they are and in removing them there is a high chance that they might stop functioning correctly. That way when problems arise the customer isnt shocked and of the opinion that you broke their blinds.

Yep, I do that already. a lot of my customers are pensioners so understandably, they will want me to do it. I still feel responsible if something happens though. :-)
