Property Tax - Valuation

    ABout the buy a new (second hand house) and I asked the solicitor what the property tax would be.

    He wasnt sure but suggested that as the previous owner was exempt and gave us a figure.

    This figure wasn't the same as the sale price.

    I assume the property tax should be based on the sale price even though the next valuation isnt till November '19?

    Property Tax is currently based on the valuation of the property as of May 2013 when the Property Tax was first introduced.
