Valencia crossing it perfectly into the top corner

Valencia crossing it perfectly into the top corner

See that's where he is making the mistake.

He cannot cross so he should just score goals instead.

What kind of reception did Rooney get?

United have actually been awful in the first twenty minutes.

  • Omg

  • United have actually been awful in the first twenty minutes.

    No they haven't
Just because Everton have had a bit of possession

    Lukaku has to score them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,750 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

is it very slow game? seems to be plenty of instances with a utd player standing still for a few seconds deciding what to do with the ball

No, because they've created nothing. I can't think of one player who has played well from the front six.

Still, rather that and be one up, than be playing well at 0-0.

    Lukaku has to score them

Well, it would certainly make winning matches easier if he did.

    The score is 1-0

Which means they created the chance and converted it

It's just very disjointed. United haven't got going, maybe it's early goal syndrome but it's been poor.

    Pass Rashford ffs.

rashers can be very frustrating to watch at times. gets into a good position but then seems clueless about whether to pass/shoot, go on the inside or outside and ends in over running it or running into traffic

Yeah that was fantastic eye of the needle stuff the way Matic created that. Valencia couldn't miss it.

Tbf, this is exactly what I would expect from a young lad.

First touch has to be better

Feel like united can score on counter here

Mkhitaryan having one of those games that he has all too often.

    What a ball from Rashers.

fair point but frustrating all the same

Mata furious at Lukaku for not closing down the keeper and just standing there.

That Everton backline is looking its age. Get Rashford running at it as much as possible.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,383 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

United very wasteful. Not creating many clear cut chances but had some opportune moments to put some daylight between the teams.

Everton having a much bigger say in midfield than I'd like and are very much in the game unfortunately.

Everton in this but you get the feeling that United could pull away in the second half. Keeper should have done better with the goal. :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,030 ✭✭✭Minderbinder

Thought United improved in the last 15 minutes, party because Everton pushed a bit further up the field. Expect they'll have more opportunities in the second half, similar to the first two games of the season.

Like have built a brick wall behind him? not a hope he was saving that

Take note of the smiley. I was joking. Two keepers wouldn't have saved that.

Have to be thankful to the Everton backline. They're the only ones making chances for United.

How is Martina not even on a yellow card? Twice with cynical fouls to stop breaks. You never get away with those.

The last foul was hardly cynical and the 'break' was well over after the initial tussle with Keane.

Everton really lacking a bit of pace up front. Could see them getting something from this game if they had it.

Rooney threw some serious shade at Jags when he played that terrible pass.

    Mkhitaryan :)

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,640 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

That was brilliant. The Everton fans gloated over his free kick and then seconds later he scores.
