I need some help. I don't know what to do. My cat keeps peeing on furniture or the floor. She is neutered so its not calling scent ect. We have a small cat tree for her a cat game and toys e.g Mouse, balls with bells. We play with her with a tassle stick which she loves. We come home from work to play with her but we then sit down to relax and watch tv n chill and she strikes again. The smell is very bad and Iv been trying my best to clean up and get rid of the smell I Keep her litter tray clean too. She is for the most part blind so maybe this makes her more frustrated. If anybody can help id much appreciate

Has she always done it or is it a new thing?

If it's a new thing, it's more than likely either a urinary tract or kidney infection or else stress. Has anything changed that might be bothering her? I'd bring her to the vet to rule out an infection first anyway.

I've no experience with the blindness but I don't think it should be an issue as long as the litter tray is always in the same place.

I'd agree with previous poster. If toilet behaviour has changed it warrants a vet visit. Cats don't do it for no reason.
Vet check and go from there. :-)

I'd agree with other posters. Did the cat ever use the litter tray? If not I'd suggest you pick up the cat and place him/her into the litter tray and take his/her paw in your hand and using the paw you physically imitate that burying action that cats do after relieving themselves. That way your letting the cat know where the letterbox is. It may help.

You need an enzyme cleaner for cat pee to be removed properly. Get check, feliway spray and a fully cleaned house with a new toilet with clay litter (unscented only!) Is your best bet. Will post more onceat a real PC in a few days time.

I have a male neutered cat who likes to do this on occasion, he was stressed with new cats coming into the area which he could see when he looked out the window. Also are you keeping your litter tray too clean? The vet had asked me the same question, they need some of their scent it in. I use urine off to clean, got it on Amazon along with a black light so I can see exactly where needs doing. Good luck and I hope your wee pet is ok x
