    Hi

Im getting the train from Galway to Heuston tomorrow morning.

I need to get to UCD asap when i arrive in Heuston.

Im persuming getting the 145 Bub bus is the fastest way to get there?

Where does that bus leave from?

How long roughly might it take to get around in the morning around 8.10am?

Also getting from UCD to Heuston, leaving the college around 5pm. Will it take long with traffic?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Will take you between 30 to 40 minutes in the morning and between 40 to 50 minutes in the afternoon, if it's raining properly add another 10 minutes to each journey.

From Heuston to UCD when you come out the main door it's right in front of you and slightly to your left (you'll see the number 145 on the timer) it has it's own dedicated stop and goes every 10 minutes during the day, often the bus is sitting there for a few min before it takes off. It's right in front of the Luas stop.

From UCD you can get it right outside the main gate just on your left, again there is a timer, it's the second most frequent service in the city.

It can be a bit slow going through the CC itself but the route after CC is very quick and covered with bus lanes, just leave yourslef plenty of time for any rush hour issues.

Are you going from Galway to Dublin every day? THat seems long quite a slog

You can get the 145 straight outside the front door of Heuston Station.
The journey to UCD generally takes between 25 minutes to a half an hour depending on what hour of the day you're planning to travel and what the traffic is like.

Journey from UCD to Heuston Station can usually take a bit longer due to rush-hour traffic.

If you are just going into the CC first check out the 46a or the bus (think it's the 38a now?) that leaves from campus bus terminus, if you are going into town during rush hour 4:30-7 and want a seat get the one from campus because it starts from UCD. Does not go to Heuston but it's useful if you are going into town.

There is no need to look up times of the 145, they are very frequent. On the way in the 145 will let you off on the opposite side of the bridge so when you get off the bus you have to walk back, turn left over the bridge and walk in the main gate (str8 not left, campus accomidation is left main campus buildings are right ahead)

Post here any time you need info about this kind of stuff you will always get a fast response. If anything about UCD itself confuses you PM me I not only go there I lived there 3 years.
