    Hi there
    Need some advise please.
We are looking to buy a house that was built on a plot of land. The owner subsequently built a second house and linked the sewage from house 2 to house 1.  If we buy house 1, they are asking for permission to access their sewage pipe which will be on our land. They had said they cannot link it directly to the village public sewage as it is not close enough or would require work to get linked up (Council have confirmed this). Is this a big NO NO? Not sure what they implications are in terms of block drains and who is responsible. Can you even tell whose sewerage causes the blockage. ANY advise or experience greatly appreciated!
    Sara
