    Hi all,

Selling an old and well used Elite Chrono Mag turbo, same as the one in the attached link:

    https://www.evanscycles.com/elite-supercrono-power-mag-elastogel-trainer-EV136511

It has been serving me well for about 5 years. The cable has some signs of rubbing off moving tyres, but functions just fine. It comes with a wheel block, and I'll include a spare rear wheel with tyre and 11 speed block.

Asking is €75, collection from Rathmines.

Would take €65, including wheel block and spare wheel.

If its compatible with Zwift, as wiggle suggests, I may be interested at 60e :)

    Also: is it very noisy?

In terms of compatibility with Zwift, that's a 3rd party on-a-screen system? I have no reason to doubt that it is compatible, but I have never used it, so I'd rely on your research, and not say one way or another.

It is not quiet, let me put it that way. Like most mag based turbo's, it does create noise. I generally used it in my apartment while watching youtube training videos and received no complaints from neighbours on either the volume of the turbo or the cheesy trance music on the youtube video. Didn't have to have the tv on full blast either to hear the videos.

I'd take your offer if you can collect and the above doesn't bother you!

Just to be clear, the wheel offered is a 700c road wheel for rim brakes currently fitted with a 23mm tyre.

I was thinking of using it in a hall, during night hours, with all neighbors asleep. Bad idea?

Road wheel is fine, I guess I don't need to brake on turbo?

How would your neighbours feel about loud-ish music on in the night?! You're more than welcome to hop up on it and make a call then Alek. You might not need a rear brake, but are the spacings not different on hubs for disc/rim wheels?

Spacing on my bike is 135mm.

    Loudish music? Wow, no, thanks...

Hold on, I'll check a few reviews / forums now... I'll get back to you tomorrow.

Do! I don't want to sound like I'm putting you off, but I don't want to give you the wrong impression. It's not loud, but it is audible. What is too loud is up to you. Like I said, you're more than welcome to come try it.
