So i have electric water and room heating with day and night time rates meters. I received first 2 months bill which is 25% higher than our previous combined electricity + gas bill.

I think it's because of water heating system. I am unable to decipher from the unit what time the water heating is on. It should be on only at night to use the reduced night rates. I have attached picture. Any help is appreciated.

Just set Current Time its Summertime Now so set current time at Summer Time Mark then Water will heat on off peak its already set for off peak hrs and you cannot change it if you dont want to heat switch off

If you want to heat during Day Turn Boost Knob

    Thank you for explaining.

I read few older posts on this heating unit. It heats up water between 5 am & 9 am. I checked that by rotating the switch. I wanted to reduce it to 2 hours to save on bill but apparently it is a bit tricky and need to open the unit for that.
