here a question to all you guys out there. Brought my nissan in for a intern service so cost 179 ok in july no problems there few small things need to be done next service. So here the problem my front headlight buld went today . So i saw that side light was not working and had known about that for a little while. Pop open the bonnet finally get the side light out only to discover no bulb there at all. My question is that nissan never told me any problems with the lights and on there windsor site they claim to check lights and bulbs and with the nights creeping back in. So should i inform nissan that they messed up or just leave it.

I wouldn't inform Nissan that they messed up, I'd go back to Windsor though, mistakes can and do happen and I'm sure they'll rectify it for you.

To be fair, side lights are probably the easiest ones to miss, lots of garages check them off a mirror as opposed to walking around the car and looking at them, so an error could have been made. Windsor wont want to fall out with you over a capless bulb.

Does your car have daylight running lights? If so,it may have side light positions in the headlights but will have no bulbs as these are not active.

    Yes a bad earth!!!!

A very common cause of bulbs blowing repeatedly.
