Hi all, quick query. I picked up my new Audi A5 s line today it's a 141 imported from Scotland. Have connected my phone via Bluetooth and the calls etc are working.

My question is I can't seem to stream music from my phone through the car? When I choose media and source all I have is aux, ad card and CD. Would have thought a fairly new car would have this as standard. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround/something I can buy to get this to work if not as standard?

Probably only has the basic bluetooth function. The A5 got a facelift in 2013 so streaming music through bluetooth may have been introduced as an option. It may be possible to just enable the streaming function via software. You would need to get someone with VAG software like VAGCOM to see if it can be enabled on your car.

So from research the car only comes with bluetooth for calls. Annoying but not the end of the world.

From looking my best bet would be one of these Parrot MKi9200: http://www.halfords.ie/technology/mobile-phone-accessories/bluetooth-car-kits/parrot-mki9200-bluetooth-handsfree-kit-v3

Anyone any experience with these? How do they connect? Is it directly to the radio or is it aux? Also would I be able to use this for streaming music while still using the built in audi bluetooth for phone?

    Thanks

I had one in a previous car and they are grand but I never liked the aftermarket screen and buttons, have you a pic of your actual unit as herself has a 151 A4 which streams music no bother.
